HILLS budding entrepreneurs have sold their wares to raise cash for animals in need.
The Mount Dandenong Primary School grade five and six students held a market day last Wednesday (2 December).
It was also a great chance for fellow students do get a little Christmas shopping out of the way.
All cash raised from the day will be donated to the RSPCA.
More than 60 students finally got the chance to spruik their products after a month of planning.
They sold lollies, cakes, and even offered hair spraying services.
Teacher Jenni Garrett said the students had to come up with a product, business plan and marketing strategy.
She said they also voted on which charity to donate to.
“It gives them real life experience with economics and marketing and it (the market) created a real buzz around the school,” Ms Garrett said.
The students raised more than $1540 from the day.
