Police urging owner of a large amount of cash found in Monbulk to come forward

Monbulk Police are searching for the owner of a large amount of cash found scattered on Olinda-Monbulk Road between Olinda and Monbulk in August, and are asking for them to come forward.

A large amount of money was handed into Monbulk Police in August, with a public plea being made by police due to the cash amount.

If anyone lost a large amount of money during this time, and place, Monbulk Police advise calling Senior Constable Ben Mitchell at Monbulk Police Station.

For the owner to claim the money, they will need to explain how much money there should be in total and what sort of denominations the amount is made up of.

To contact Monbulk Police Station, call (03) 9756 6266 and speak to Senior Constable Ben Mitchell for more information.
