Woman of many facets

UPPER Ferntree Gully artist Sasha Mutch’s debut exhibition is on display at Burrinja.
Ms Mutch, who recently completed high school, is now studying Animation and Interactive Media at RMIT University.
She said the exhibit, titled Multifaceted, is themed around people, and features portraits, figures and characters.
“It allows the public to expect people and faces while also homing in on the idea that there will be a diverse, versatile range of works,” she said.
“As my style, medium and form are not entirely set and I enjoy a variety of approaches towards my art, Multifaceted works in the notion that I myself am not simply one personality, that in a way each style and form is representative of my own dual identity.”
Multifaceted will be on display at the Café Gallery in Burrinja until 11 March. It is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10.30am to 4pm.
