Knox City Council will be hosting a workshop with Sustainable Gardening Australia on 23 March at Ferntree Gully Library.
Sustainable Gardening Australia will be sharing tips and advice on preparing a garden for a cool-season planting, with garden maintenance, soil preparation, sustainable ways to improve productivity, crop rotation and companion planting included in topics covered.
There will also be a swap table at the event for people to share produce, seedlings, flowers or recipes.
The workshop will run from 3pm to 5pm on Wednesday 23 March at Ferntree Gully Library, 1010 Burwood Highway.
