A PUPPET show, great music and fabulous food promise to be just some of the highlights at this year’s Sherbrooke Community School Festival.
The festival, which will be held on Saturday 15 March, promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
It will celebrate education while showcasing the talents of the students, teachers and staff.
The festival will be a great family fun day out with great food including a barbecue, plus live entertainment such as a puppet theatre show and live music.
There will also be plenty of stalls and displays covering crafts, the environment and science.
The school also promises to put on array of games for all to enjoy.
One of the highlights of the festival will be a demonstration by science teacher Brian Lennon who will show people how to use the school’s two new Fab@Home three-dimensional printers.
Sherbrooke Community School is the first school in Australia to install this new technology.
The printers are used to print objects from plastic and other materials.
Those wanting to learn more about these printers or enjoy a great family day out should not miss this fantastic festival.
The festival will start at 10am and run until 3pm at the school on Mt Dandenong Tourist Road, Sassafras.
For more information about the festival call the school on 9755 2007.
