A FEDERAL grant worth almost $100,000 will help a Montrose manufacturer invest in clean and renewable technologies.
Innovation Minister Senator Kim Carr and Labor Party candidate for Casey Cathy Farrell jointly announced the funding at Precision Shower Screens and Robes Pty Ltd last week.
Congratulating the recipients, Ms Farrell said the grant would help them reduce both their power bills and carbon emissions.
“With support of the Labor Government, Precison Shower and Robes is reducing their power bills by up to $40,000,” Ms Farrell said.
“At the same time, the company will cut carbon pollution by reducing the energy intensity of their operations by 29 per cent.”
Senator Carr said the injection of financial support would help the business modernise their operations and be more sustainable.
