WITH spring around the corner, Tesselaar will open its doors for its annual Tulip Festival from 12 September to 8 October.
Ten lucky Mail readers can win a double pass to the renowned festival and surround themselves in more than a million flowers, in the heart of the Yarra Ranges.

This year’s events include:
Turkish Weekend – Friday 13 to Sunday 15 September, a celebration of the origin of the tulip with entertainment including Turkish Folk Dancers and musicians, belly dancing, coffee cup fortune reading, Turkish marbling and calligraphy, delicious foods and more.
Seniors Week – Monday 16 to Thursday 19 September, flowers and fun with live shows, market stalls and tractor rides to enjoy, as well as free tea or coffee for all seniors.
Dutch Weekend – Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September, share the Dutch’s love affair with tulips, which will see the place transform into a mini-Holland, complete with delicious Dutch foods, traditional Dutch folk dancing, windmills and games.
Food, Wine and Jazz Weekend – Friday 27 to Sunday 29 September, combining life’s finer pleasures in the tulips with non-stop music all weekend, featuring jazz tunes and delicious wine and beer.
Children’s Days – Monday 23 to Thursday 26 September and Monday 30 September to 3 October, family fun time with free entry for the kids and lots of entertainment including a fairy, magician, balloonists and even a petting zoo.
Irish Weekend – Friday 4 to Sunday 6 October, the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, featuring fun, music, dancing and leprechauns through the greening of the tulip.
Winners will be announced Wednesday 11 September and can collect the passes from our Mount Evelyn office, located at 2A York Road.
