THE 3rd Annual Emerald Community Girls Night In is set to go on Friday 18 October.
Being held at the Emerald Performing Arts Centre, it is a chance for local women to enjoy a night out while raising money for Cancer Council Australia.
Supported each year by GAIA Skin Naturals, last year’s event was attended by 260 women and raised approximately $12,000.
Head organiser Stephanie Cox said she decided to hold the event after her mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and she wanted to do something to raise money and awareness.
Local resident and managing director of GAIA Skin Naturals, Michelle Vogrinec said she is proud of the company’s long-standing support of the evening.
“For us this is all about supporting the local community and all the families who have been touched by cancer,” she said.
Tickets are $10 and available from Riches IGA in Emerald or online at www.trybooking.com/54636.
