UPWEY Primary school had their kids all aboard at sea adventure as the whole school took to the stage for one special night.
From the Preps through to Grade 6, the students took parents, relatives and friends on Sinbad’s Treasure adventure at the Burrinja Theatre.
The primary school puts on a production every two years with the help of parents and staff who contribute to the making of the costumes and set design.
“They did a magnificent job, the set was full of colour and flair,” principal Malcolm Aspinall said.
The production followed a seventh generation search for treasure with lots of interesting characters along the way, including King Neptune.
The students sang and danced as they were transformed into merpeople, sea devils, sea creatures, rox birds and silly sailors.
“It was a great family night with huge entertainment, energy and enthusiasm for the audience,” Mr Aspinall said.
