Total Fire Ban declared for Tuesday

A state wide Total Fire Ban has been declared for Tuesday 15 January, as Victoria’s heatwave continues.

No fire can be lit or allowed to remain alight in the open air on January 15.

The fire danger rating in the Central fire district, which includes the Yarra Ranges, Geelong and Melbourne, has been declared as very high.

According to the Bureau of Meterology, The temperature in Yarra Glen, in the Yarra Valley is expected to climb to 39 degrees tomorrow.
