Developing Monbulk

Council is currently assessing an application for development of shops and 21 apartments, with associated vegetation removal, for 22-26 Main Road, Monbulk.

It is proposed to develop the land for shops, a cafe and 21 apartments and car parks at the basement level and other supporting infrastructure. Vegetation removal is also sought as a result of the development of this site.

It is expected that the application will be advertised shortly which will involve directly notifying surrounding residents and placing signage on the subject site.

Yarra Ranges residents and other interested parties can view the full application material on Councils website by visiting the ePlanning page and search for application YR-2018/495, or click here.

Submissions to the application can be made through the ePlanning page at https://eplanning.yarraranges.vic.gov.au/Pages/XC.Track/SearchApplication.aspx?id=846471

Following advertising and consideration of issues raised by submissions the application will be decided at a future Council meeting.
