Can’t stop, won’t stop for that K-pop.

A driver performing a one-man show in his Toyota Camry on 22 April didn’t find the audience he was looking for, when Yarra Ranges Highway Patrol pulled him over.

The man was intercepted at a breath-testing site on Swansea Road, Lilydale at 7.55am when officers observed him using his phone while driving to stream a pop music video.

Enquiries made by police revealed the man was travelling using a learner’s permit without an experienced person in the car, and was not displaying the mandatory ‘L’ plates.

The 29-year-old Springvale man was issued with $1400 in fines for various traffic offences, and had to find a groupie to come and pick him up.
