A Beyond The Climate Emergency public forum will be held at Selby Community House on 4 March at 7pm.

It will involve an Al Gore trained speaker updating world climate science. All welcome and bookings are not needed.

Clean up Australia Day

Emerald Clean Team encourages the community to join them on Sunday 1 March for their 16th Clean Up Australia Day event.

Meet in the lower library car park at Worrell Reserve in Emerald at 9am until 11am.

Lilydale and District Historical Society

Roy Hay, the author of the released book Aboriginal People and Australian Football in the Nineteenth Century They Did Not Come From Nowhere, will be the special guest speaker at the Lilydale and District Historical Society meeting on 7 March.

Roy Hay will feature the links between the Aborigines at Coranderrk in Healesville playing the game and their match against Lilydale in 1883.

The talk is at 2.30pm at the Old Lilydale Court House, 61 Castella Street, Lilydale. Gold coin donation. Contact Lorraine Smith 9735 1104.
