Passers-by in Monbulk witnessed a car crash into the front window of the Monbulk Family Butcher on 7 February, which fortunately resulted in nobody being injured.

The car ended up lodged in the front of the butcher shop, with the driver walking away without being hurt in the crash.

Monbulk Family Butcher thanked everyone who stopped to help after the incident on Facebook.

“Just want everyone to know that thankfully no one was injured today when a car came through the shop window,” they said.

“Some of us a bit shaken as there was a very close call with one of our staff working just inside the window.”

CFA and Police responded to the incident, while the driver of the vehicle was driven home by the owner of the shop’s daughter.
