At 3.38pm on Sunday 24 April, crews from Monbulk and Silvan CFA responded to an accident on Monbulk Road, Monbulk.
A single-vehicle had left the road and hit a tree, with two occupants requiring the crews to remove the side and roof of the vehicle to rescue them.
The two occupants were then loaded onto stretchers before being taken to the hospital via helicopters at Silvan Oval.
Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria also attended the scene of the accident.
