Between May 1 and 8, Yarra Ranges Crime Investigation Unit alongside the Frontline Tasking Unit, Yarra Ranges Highway Patrol and the Public Order Response Team conducted an operation targeting thefts from vehicles, burglaries and street robberies.
Operation Reaffirms2 was conducted throughout Yarra Ranges, Knox and Maroondah Police Service Areas, with police completing 104 name checks, 243 vehicle checks, 145 license checks over the week.
Victoria Police said 10 arrests were made for possession of drugs, warrants, trafficking a drug of dependence, theft and theft of a motor vehicle. Four vehicles were impounded and four people will be charged for driving while suspended.
