Yarra Ranges Council is urgently removing a tree at 223 Ridge Road, Mt Dandenong today to prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
The council said after the tree moved in the group caused the root plate to begin failing, a contractor will remove the tree today.
As shown in the photo supplied by Yarra Ranges Council, the tree is precariously close to falling onto the road and is being removed to avoid an accident or having the road blocked.
