Yarra Ranges Council’s Shower and Power locations have now been revised as power returns to certain areas. Power and Shower sites are now located at:
Belgrave Hub, 1616-1624 Burwood Highway, Belgrave 7.30am – 7.30pm
The Yarra Centre, Warburton Highway, Yarra Junction 6am – 9pm weekdays and 8am – 6pm weekends
Further facilities are being organised.
For residents impacted by the power outage who have run out of space in their FOGO bins – extra bins have been now been made available at the following locations:
Belgrave Recreation Reserve, 1A Reserve Road, Belgrave
Belgrave South Recreation Reserve, 10/12 Mt Morton Rd, Belgrave South
Minak Reserve, (Entrance off Wombalano Road/Minak Road, Selby
Please note that these bins are only to be used for spoiled food waste caused by the power outage.
While demand is high, Yarra Ranges Council’s contractor will aim to empty the bins twice daily.
