Monbulk Rangers FFV Men’s 1st and Reserves 1st (State League 4) v Monash University
The last match of the year for the senior men saw the first win against Monash University 2-0. This means that the boys will finish fourth on the ladder.
The Reserves finished off the year with a draw against Monash University, finishing second on the ladder.
Monbulk Rangers FFV Ladies 1st and Reserves (State League 1) vs Boroondara
Monbulk FFV ladies played in the final on Sunday against Boroondara Eagles at Point Cook. It was the final fit out for the season and with an under- manned side, the girls had a real battle ahead.
On the day Boroondara was just too strong, and the final result was a 0-2 loss to Monbulk Rangers. However, overall the girls have had an exceptional year, finishing second on the ladder to ensure their promotion to Premier League.
