Knox council free mental health first aid course

Knox City Council is offering free mental health first aid courses for parents and carers of someone with a disability, in partnership with Orana Neighbourhood House and delivered by Neami National.

The instructor-led course will consist of four sessions from 11.30am to 2.30pm on Wednesdays throughout June. The dates for the course are 8 June, 15 June, 22 June and 29 June.

The standard mental health first aid course will provide detail on initial support for adults experiencing mental health problems or crises until professional help is received or the crisis resolves.
